Jesus’ great commission begins with the word, “Go.” So, at The Well we believe that the church is meant to be externally focused.
Fostering friendships and practicing compassion is central to what we do here because we’re convinced that good deeds pave the way for the good news.
These are some of the activities we’ve helped with:
- tutoring at a local elementary school
- helping organize the holiday parade
- frying fish at a neighborhood association fundraiser
- serving at a father-daughter banquet
- helping with a mother-daughter fashion show
- preparing meals for the women's shelter
- creating a community interactive prayer room during the holiday season
We want to invest in our community because Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. But we’ll be honest. We hope to have the opportunity to lead our friends to Jesus, because that’s where real living begins.
