Meet us at The Well
We’d like to introduce you to our leadership team. These 7 people invest themselves in the life and times of The Well. Their vision and passion for the Kingdom of God in Southside Chattanooga helps bring focus to who we are and what we’re about.
Mike Fulbright
Mike serves as our pastor. These days, that can include just about anything related to The Well.
The book I recommend: The Grace Awakening by Chuck Swindoll. The one who has most influenced me: Gotta go with Mom. My testimony: Learning to live from the inside out. Favorite restaurant: Tony’s Pasta Shop. Cheese tortellini and chicken with artichoke cream sauce. And tiramisu. Favorite organization: The Chattanooga Lookouts. Nothing like a night at the ballpark.

Tommy Diller
Tommy brings leadership, vision, and organization to our small-group ministry. He also epitomizes community investment. Tommy serves as president for the Glenwood Neighborhood Association.
The one who has most influenced me: I'll have to ask my wife about that. My testimony: It took awhile, but I got myself facing the right direction. Favorite restaurant: Walley's Diner. Best greasy spoon in town. Best local activity: The Glenwood Jazz Festival.
Favorite organization: The Glenwood Neighborhood Association. For fun: I like to watch or play anything that can be described as a sport.

Lisa Diller
Lisa also brings leadership, vision, and organization to our small group ministry. She is all about connecting with our community and often takes a lead role in moving the church toward being more civic sensitive.
The book I recommend: Right now it is War is a Force that Gives us Meaning. The one who has most influenced me: Absolutely all the people who have influenced me profoundly have lived out-loud and full throttle, daring to risk transparency and pain in order to love and serve others. My testimony: I have been loved and forgiven and need to be part of a community shaped by the same. Favorite restaurant: I adore 212 Market—local produce and meat elegantly served, but fairly inexpensive. Best local activity: I am a huge fan of the Chattanooga market—each Sunday afternoon between noon and 5pm—great music, food, and gifts. Favorite organization: The most important civic resource is the public library—libraries are the last of the public commons and ours is a fantastic source of media, books, Chattanooga and family history, book and film clubs and children's activities—all free. For fun: I plant and weed and harvest and transplant in my "yarden."
Mark Thomas
Mark drives our community service initiatives and is deeply involved in the development of our teen ministry.
The book I recommend: People of the Lie by M. Scott Peck.
The one who has most influenced me: My grandma for her consistent care for people, toughness, generous spirit, and hope. Favorite restaurant: Rain Thai Restaurant. Best local activity: Riverbend for all the interesting people.
For fun: Travel, movies, books, hangin’ with my homies.
[Email Mark] or call 423-290-8760.
MaryJane Thomas
MaryJane plays a supportive role in just about all things church related. But she plays a lead role in the development of both our teen and children’s ministries.
The one who has most influenced me: God has put people in my life that have influenced, encouraged, and challenged and shaped me: parents, grandparents, teachers, friends, coworkers, mentors. Favorite restaurant: Lupi's Pizza and Clumpies Ice Cream. Best local activity: Chattanooga Market.
For fun: Traveling, gardening, cooking, shopping, hiking, and anything outside.
Nick Van Allen
Nick serves as our creative and artistic expert and also as our lead consultant in all things technical.
The book I recommend: Into Thin Air. My testimony: I am still searching for the truth. Favorite restaurant: Thai Smile has the best Thai food around. Best local activity: Reflection Riding Free Day. For fun: backpack, hike, bike.
Tamra Van Allen
Though listed last, Tamra is anything but least. She serves as our “administrator extraordinaire.” She is indispensable in helping us bring order out of chaos.
